Who we are

Hurricanes, earthquakes, tropical storms, and floods have devastated the infrastructure of Haiti over the past several years, inciting a desperate cry for help. We Are Haiti, Inc. was created in response to that cry.

We Are Haiti, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization led by Haitian-Americans who are committed to investing in the future of Haiti and its people. Whether through a familial relation to those still living in Haiti or through frequent visits, our board of directors is intimately acquainted with the overwhelming losses Haiti has suffered and personally invested in bringing about change.

We Are Haiti, Inc. seeks to raise money through fundraising events, mail campaigns, and grants in order to provide relief efforts, such as follows:

• Contributing financially towards the rebuilding of homes
• Aiding with damage assessments for land, property, and infrastructure
• Assisting the Haitian people with social services such as medical care, food, and housing.

It is our hope that the efforts of We Are Haiti, Inc. will not only provide immediate relief and assistance to the people of Haiti, but also become a conduit through which the nation of Haiti can achieve long-term sustainability, as they rebuild and revitalize.
